Busy Day

Today was a very busy and productive day for Mama and Philip!

• First he had his hearing test and passed right away (as if there was any doubt)

• Then we successfully breast fed for the first time! (sorry, no pics of that exciting new venture)

• We played in the bouncy seat and Philip got to check himself out in a mirror for the first time:

• Of course, all that excitement called for a nap:

• We also snuggled and cooed for a while, but there's nothing new about that. 

• We officially started discharge planning because Super Baby is doing so well. At the rate he's going, we could be out in a week, though we're trying not to get too overconfident because the docs like to remind us that "he may start to slow down with how well he tolerates the feed increases." As long as we're home by Christmas I'll be thrilled (though having him home by my birthday on December 8th would be the BEST birthday present EVER!!!).
