Baby Boy continues to do great and I continue to hold my breath as I wait for our Monday discharge. The neonatologist today (he's my least favorite one) says we'll definitely get to go home as long as Philip doesn't loose weight. I think that's kind of silly, considering he's gained over a pound since birth (he was born at 6lb 10oz and today he's 7lb 12oz). MOST normal babies loose a little weight after birth and its not like I'm unqualified to care for him and recognize if there is a problem at home (I sort of earned that RN at the end of my name).
I'm not going to let that get me down though... Philip WILL NOT loose weight before Monday and he WILL come home (yay for the power of positive thinking!). And, of course, we will continue to pray...
