Well, we lost the tiniest bit of weight today (20 grams), but the neonatologist assures us he is confident that Philip's weight will be up by tomorrow morning and he will be able to come home. Unfortunately, if he doesn't gain weight, we don't get to come home. So tonight we are praying for a fatty! Especially since we are completely ready for discharge...
- Yesterday we did the car seat challenge and passed with flying colors:

- Today we took the IV out. See? "Ta Daaaa!":

- The IV coming out called for a bath time celebration, because a little someone LOVES to chill in the water

After the bath, that same little someone decided it would be a perfect time to make a big fat poop all over the clean, warm blankets we laid him on. It was classic, but unfortunately we didn't get a picture. No complaints from me about that though... just a couple weeks ago we were praying for poop and I still get happy every time I see it (all 20 times per day).
- We successfully breast fed for a full feeding (no bottle required) and did all of those normal little baby things that I can't wait to do at home.
So tonight we will be on pins and needles, praying hard for weight gain because it is time for this little miracle to do all these normal baby things at home (over 2 months earlier than expected!) in his beautiful Snoopy nursery that is all set up and ready for him.
